About Us
Yeah, we don’t get it either, but here we are, doing a thing.
We are three friends who spend a lot of time outdoors riding ATVs, cooking, hunting, homesteading, camping, and drinking a lot of beer. We’d like to get better at all of it, but we don’t learn so good. So each week we get good learned folks on a podcast (which we also don’t know how to do) to tell us we’re dumb. You know what they say… If you’re gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough. We’re probably not that tough either.
What We Talk About
We try to keep it casual, and chat about the things we think we know, and stuff in our everyday lives that revolves around the outdoors and doing stuff with our hands. We attempt such topics as ATVs, camping, hunting, cooking, drinking, blacksmithing, beekeeping, farming, equipment and gear, starting your own business, tools and more.
The Hosts
Darren Northcott
Balancing his day job in digital marketing, Darren likes to camp, hunt, blacksmith, and spend time with his family out on their land in Alberta and BC.
Matt Lucas
Matt has a vast array of knowledge and skills that he puts to the test on a daily basis, whether it’s welding, keeping bees, raising chickens, or hunting, he enjoys spending time with his family and being outside.
Scott King
Spending his days helping brands find their digital path, Scott likes to smoke food, cook on fires, and spend time with friends and family out at his property and around the city. He also enjoys camping, hunting, and walking.
